Supporting The Upper Highway Baby Home: Providing Safety and Family

The Upper Highway Baby Home (UHBH) began in 2019 when foster parents Kerry and Gary opened their hearts and home to abandoned and vulnerable babies in KwaZulu-Natal. Since then, UHBH has provided temporary safe care and foster care to babies in desperate need of love, safety, and family.

Every baby who enters UHBH arrives with adoption paperwork, often in fragile health. From the moment they are welcomed, the team ensures immediate medical care, ongoing treatment, and — most importantly — a nurturing family environment where healing can begin.

At UHBH, babies are given the chance to experience life as every child should. Whether it’s learning to ride in a car seat, interacting with pets, or joining in on shopping trips, playdates, and family outings, each moment is part of preparing them for a brighter future.

Making a Difference NPC is proud to have supported UHBH with a recent delivery of essential supplies, including:

13 packs of Size S diapers

3 packs of Size 2 diapers

7 packs of Size 3 diapers

16 packs of Size 4 diapers

6 packs of Size 5 diapers

1 box of baby wipes

Together, we continue to make a meaningful difference for these little ones.
