Pillar 1: The Diaper Fund | Strategic Cash Procurement
The Diaper Fund is our centralised financial vehicle that aggregates donations and grants into bulk nappy procurement from manufacturers. It creates a guaranteed baseline reservoir, secures wholesale pricing, and ensures 12-month supply security for vetted facilities—forming the reliable backbone of the Nappy Bank. Local & Global: Designed to attract both South African and international funding for maximum local impact.
Pillar 2: The Rescue Run | Asset Recovery
The Rescue Run establishes formal, audited channels to recover surplus and short-dated nappy inventory from manufacturers and logistics companies. These “rescued” units are converted into verified donations at zero acquisition cost, significantly increasing volume while maintaining full traceability.
Pillar 3: The Magic Pack | Virtual Retail Integration
The Magic Pack turns everyday retail purchases into passive support. Shoppers scan a special barcode at the till, receive instant collectible rewards, and contribute to bulk nappy procurement. This creates predictable, recurring revenue while turning passive shoppers into active supporters of the Nappy Bank.
Pillar 4: The Sky-Drop | Physical Acquisition Infrastructure
The Sky-Drop deploys secure, branded donation stations at high-traffic retail centres and community locations. Public donations are converted into inventory via permanent drop points, with corporate sponsors covering costs through advertising panels. Designed for gamification, it transforms giving into a visible, engaging spectacle that draws crowds and impulse support.
Pillar 5: The M-A-D Card | Passive Endowment
The M-A-D Card links everyday shopping to sustained impact. Shoppers connect their loyalty profile once; retailers then allocate a percentage of tracked spend to the Nappy Bank. This creates a low-effort, high-volume passive revenue stream that reduces reliance on traditional donations over time.
