ABOUT MAKING-A-DIFFERENCE NPC
The name ‘Making a Difference’ reflects what so many organisations and individuals are doing for our beautiful country and its people. We exist to support South African organisations and initiatives that serve vulnerable people and other good causes empowering them to deliver high-quality care, education, and services to their beneficiaries. OUR INITIATIVES
By addressing this basic need for vulnerable babies, we not only provide essential supplies but build trust within communities, establish scalable operational models, and develop meaningful donor engagement. This initiative serves as a critical first step in our broader objectives to support South African organisations and initiatives that serve good causes and vulnerable people. Read more.
We deeply appreciate your generous offer to donate unused nappies. At this stage, our logistics are geared towards direct partnerships with nappy manufacturers and suppliers for streamlined delivery. GIVING AND PARTNERSHIPS
Yes, we welcome support from individuals and organisations around the world. International donations can be made securely through PayPal, which accepts various international currencies. We also provide our SWIFT code for direct international bank transfers. Read more.
Making-A-Difference NPC has a target allocation of 85% or more of all donated funds going directly to our programmes. 15% or less of funds are allocated to core and operational costs. Read more.
The Founding 100 is a group of individuals and organisations supporting Making-A-Difference NPC from its early stages. It offers Impact and Visibility partnership pathways, providing opportunities for both tax-efficient donations and brand exposure. Read more.
A ‘good cause’ refers to an organisation or initiative that sustainably addresses a real, pressing need among vulnerable groups in South Africa, such as children, the elderly, or people with disabilities. It demonstrates a positive, measurable impact, operates transparently, and empowers the communities it serves. Read more.
